WASTE REMOVAL STATEMENT

At RPB Plumbing & Heating, we have always offered removal of any waste created from the works we
undertake as a service that we include in our quoted prices.

There are now certain products that we cannot dispose of in the skips we hire, and we must make
separate arrangements to dispose of these products.

Skip hire cost has increased significantly and new
waste regulations coming to effect means that we need to change the way we deal with waste created by
the works we undertake.

For smaller works, we shall continue to absorb waste costs in the prices we quote.

For larger works, we offer two options for waste disposal:

1) Customer's Responsibility:

In these cases, you, the Customer will be responsible for arranging for the removal of waste
created by the works we undertake. This may involve hiring a waste removal service or arranging
for the waste to be taken to a designated disposal site.

2) RPB's Responsibility:

In these cases, we will be responsible for arranging the removal of waste created by the works we
undertake & can raise an additional quote to for this service if required.

There are certain types of waste that cannot be disposed of with general waste. Plasterboard/coving
products being the most common that we deal with. Please bear this in mind if you decide to arrange for
the waste disposal.

If you require RPB to dispose of the waste created by works undertaken, please be assured that all waste
disposed of by us is handled responsibly and disposed of legally:

✓ We hold a waste carrier licence.

✓ We will separate dry recyclable materials (including plastic, metal, glass, and paper and
card) from residual (non-recyclable) waste, or employ a waste collector who separates this
for us.

✓ Disposal of plasterboard products requires specific handling. This will be separated and
disposed of via a private waste disposal company.

✓ Waste will be stored safely & securely until the proper methods of disposal.
